Because of Him. Hope, Peace, and Joy This Easter.

This Easter season, our hearts are drawn to the message that means everything: because He lives, we will live again.
Chances are, like me, you’ve experienced the deep heartache of losing someone close. There is nothing more painful than saying goodbye to a loved one. That loss creates a void unlike anything else. But the Easter story shines its brightest in that very place of grief.
Because Jesus Christ rose from the grave, we can find peace knowing that death is not the end. Because He lives, we will all rise again. He conquered the grave, and in that victory, He gave each of us a gift beyond comprehension: hope, confidence, and eternal perspective.
Just over a year ago, I said goodbye to my dad (Mr. MTN OPS) as he passed from this life into the next. After a tragic fall, we gathered around his hospital bed, his wife of 55 years, his children and their spouses, and a few of his almost 40 grandchildren. It was a night of heartbreak and pain, but also a night I will forever consider sacred.
In those final moments, someone began to hum the hymn Families Can Be Together Forever. One by one, we all joined in. Peace filled the room. Then came Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing, and again, peace. Finally, we hummed together Amazing Grace. And as the words “Amazing Grace” were gently hummed, the monitor line went flat.
In a moment of devastation, there was also a peace that passed all understanding (Philippians 4:7), a peace that did not come from the world. A peace that only comes through the Prince of Peace.
I know that peace. I’ve felt it. I’ve seen it fill a room in the darkest moment. And I testify that it comes because of Jesus Christ.
At MTN OPS, we often talk about Conquering More. Easter reminds me that we aren’t just conquering in this life; we’re preparing for a life more abundant in the next. Jesus said in John 10:10, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” That abundance of joy, peace, and eternal life is only possible through Him.
So wherever this message finds you, whether in joy or in sorrow, we hope you feel peace this Easter. We hope you feel hope. And above all, we pray you experience the joy of knowing that He has risen.
Because of Him, we can conquer anything, even death itself.
With love and hope this Easter season,
